Mare Bello Fiore
マーレ・ベロ・フィオーレ
Guardian of the 6th Floor (younger twin brother)Great Tomb of NazarickHumanoid · Dark ElfTotal Lv100
Personality
A timid boy who always wears girls' clothes, speaks with a stammer, and is often dragged along by his sister. He looks frail, but he shows enemies no mercy and carries out orders coldly and decisively, which makes him the Guardian with the greatest gap between appearance and reality.
Abilities
- A druid ranked second among the Guardians ("strongest in wide-area annihilation"), whose attack magic excels against armies; in Vol. 14 he flattened the Royal Capital by bombarding it again and again with long-range [Earthquake]
- Controls weather, plants, and the earth: [Earth Surge] turned flat land into a basin to hide Nazarick, and he can also bring rain, bind foes with plants, make land fertile, and more
- Astonishingly strong: he can pull a rampaging Albedo away and smash a person's head with his staff
- Holds the Divine-class staff Shadow of Yggdrasil and the World Item Avarice and Generosity; the first NPC to be granted a Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown
History
- Created by Bukubukuchagama along with his elder sister Aura; guards the 6th Floor jointly with her (Vol. 1)
- Used [Earth Surge] to turn flat land into a basin and hide Nazarick, for which he became the first NPC to receive a Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown (Vol. 1)
- During "Gehenna" in the Royal Capital, he and Entoma raided the mansion of Hilma of the Eight Fingers; he broke Hilma's legs on the spot, carried her back, and handed her over to Kyouhukou (Vol. 6)
- After the Sorcerer Kingdom was founded, he was ordered to build a dungeon near E-Rantel (Vol. 10) and later also controlled the weather over the Sorcerer Kingdom's territory; in Vol. 14 he reduced the Royal Capital to rubble with [Earthquake]
- Changed into the dress armor Bukubukuchagama had prepared and infiltrated the elven royal castle; while pursuing the fleeing Elf King, he ran into the Extra Seat (Zesshi Zetsumei) and, after a fierce battle, defeated and captured her (Vol. 16)
Trivia
His cross-dressing is a setting from his creator Bukubukuchagama, not his own preference.
Relationships
- Bukubukuchagama: His creator; "I want Lady Chagama's specialness to belong only to me and my sister"
- Aura Bella Fiora: His scary older sister, whom he can never stand up to, though their teamwork in battle is flawless
- Ainz Ooal Gown: His very kind master; "a ticket to sleep beside him is worth a hundred million"
- Shalltear Bloodfallen: His sister's best friend
- Titus Annaeus Secundus: Head librarian of the Library; Mare helps make scrolls and in exchange borrows his subordinates as bodyguards
- Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix: Mare once planned to win him over by having him do small favors behind Ainz's back, but the Empire became a vassal state before Mare could act on it
- Antilene Heran Fouche (Zesshi Zetsumei): Fought her in Vol. 16, defeated her, and took her prisoner
