アンティリーネ・ヘラン・フーシェ(番外席次「絶死絶命」)

Extra Seat of the Black Scripture; guardian of the Six Great Gods' legacySlane TheocracyHuman-elf hybrid (half-elf)Total Lv88

Personality

Outwardly cold and barely moved by the deaths of comrades, she often says she "wants to taste defeat" and "would marry anyone who can beat me," but when she smiles as she speaks, she is usually hiding her true feelings. Abused through her mother's brutal training as a child, she is lonely inside. In Vols. 15 and 16 she also shows feelings for a servile comrade, a devotion to her homeland that would risk her life, and fear of the Sorcerer King's cunning.

Abilities

  • The strongest being in the Slane Theocracy, never defeated, surpassing even the God-kin captain. She put up a decent fight against the Lv100 Mare (though Mare deliberately did not use his favored attack magic and wore unfamiliar equipment) (Vol. 16)
  • Wields "Charon's Guidance," the war scythe of Surshana, God of Darkness, through which she can unleash necromantic abilities such as [Death] and summon monsters; she wears the Armor of the Wind God
  • A talent among the continent's top ten: when she uses it on a weapon, she can wield the greatest power of its former owner; this is how she activates "The Goal of All Life is Death"
  • Can use divine healing magic up to the 3rd tier, and has mastered many martial arts, such as [Greater Evasion], [Greater Ability Boost], and [Flow Acceleration]

History

  • Her mother, once the Theocracy's trump card, was abducted and raped by the Elf King, Decem Hougan, and was rescued while pregnant. This drove the Theocracy to war with the Elf Country, once its ally. She grew up under her mother's cold training
  • On her first appearance in Vol. 4 she played with a Rubik's cube while asking the captain who was stronger, she or the mysterious vampire (Shalltear), and lost interest when she learned she was
  • With the Sorcerer Kingdom on the rise, the Theocracy decided on a swift, decisive war and sent her to the Elf Country to assassinate the Elf King (Vol. 15)
  • She infiltrated the royal palace and found her biological father. Disappointed that he did not even recognize her, she killed him with her own hands (Vol. 16)
  • She then fought Mare, lost, and was taken back to Nazarick's Frozen Prison for interrogation. From this Ainz learned that the Black Scripture had brainwashed Shalltear; he summoned Albedo and decided to destroy the Theocracy

Trivia

Her real name was revealed only in the character profile at the back of Vol. 16; until then readers always called her the "Extra Seat." Her favorite food is the soft, fluffy omelet made by the late Aunt Nazaire (Vol. 15).

Relationships

  • Captain of the Black Scripture: She once beat the conceited captain until he washed his face in horse urine and admitted "I am garbage" (author's afterword to the Web novel); afterward he still treated her normally (Vol. 15)
  • Decem Hougan: Her biological father; her mother's hatred of him is seared into her heart. In the end she killed him with her own hands
  • Faine: Her biological mother, who put her through brutal training as a child; as far as she remembers, her mother never once called her by name, and in a dream called her "this thing" (Vol. 15)
  • Infinite Magic (11th Seat of the Black Scripture): A subordinate who became servile after she beat him up in the name of training
  • Clementine: A former member whose pride she likewise crushed; Clementine calls her "that atavistic bitch"
  • Mare Bello Fiore: The Guardian who fought and defeated her in the Elf King's castle
  • Valerian Ein Obinie: The commander on the Elf Country front, who overheard her talking to herself in a tentunverified
  • Nazaire: A woman who once helped in her household and was a fine cook; the only person who showed her warmth in her childhood. Now deceased
  • Kikotenshi Nekonyan: The player who originally owned the "Armor of the Wind God" she wore in Vol. 16unverified
