Marshal of the Slane Theocracy, one of the Grand Marshal's right-hand men, commander on the Elf Country frontSlane TheocracyHumanUnknown
Personality
A man over fifty who is considerate of his subordinates, shaken by casualty figures, and willing to listen to young staff officers. He follows orders from above; though he does not agree with treating soldiers as cheap consumables, he understands the harsh reality behind it (unverified).
Abilities
- Commands the Theocracy's main force in the assault on the Elf capital
- Good at heeding his staff and steadying a demoralized army (unverified)
History
- Together with the other marshal, Gael Russells Bulgari, he is one of the Grand Marshal's right-hand men (Vol. 16 p. 161)
- Held a grueling line on the outskirts of the Elf capital and suffered heavy casualties from elven night raids; the Supreme Executive Council refused both reinforcements and permission to burn the forest (Vol. 16). The refusal of reinforcements was reportedly meant to let soldiers acquire classes such as ranger through the war (unverified)
- After the general offensive began he broke 70% of the elves' counterattack (unverified) and ordered the royal castle surrounded (Vol. 16)
- Received Zesshi Zetsumei, who arrived as reinforcements, in his tent and patiently listened to her monologue about her parents' feud, not knowing how to react (Vol. 16; the claim that he "fled the tent in fear" is unverified)
Trivia
The novel states only that he is over fifty and has commander-type classes (Vol. 16 p. 161); the six strategists under him are all in their twenties (timeline: "the Theocracy's six staff officers, born over 20 years ago").
