Personality
A typical royal who treats commoners as dirt and wields his power without hesitation for the sake of his honor. He is good at putting on a dignified front, but grows suspicious and more and more emotional as Zanac rises. He feels no brotherly affection for his younger brother and would even consider getting rid of him if necessary.

History
- Competed with Zanac for the succession; during the Demonic Disturbance in the capital he had no private troops and could only shut himself up in the palace, which damaged his reputation (Vol. 6)
- Volunteered to take the field in the Battle of Katze Plains; his father sent him to lead a 5,000-strong detached force to Carne Village (Vol. 9)
- At Carne Village he was high-handed and merciless, declaring the whole village traitors, and met resistance from the villagers; his force collapsed after Enri blew the horn and summoned a goblin army (Vol. 9)
- While he fled, Lupusregina appeared out of nowhere and tortured him to death; his body was never found, and the kingdom treated him as missing (Vol. 9)

"Barbro" is almost exclusively a female name in Sweden; the male-to-female ratio is said to be about 1 to 3,000.
