Baron Cheneko

Personality

Not quick-witted: he fails to notice the sharper people around him grimacing at his remarks, and does not realize that if anything goes wrong while he is carrying out the king's orders, he will take the blame. Barbro judged that he was likely to interpret things in his own favor.

Abilities

• Holds his own domain and levies his subjects for war

History

• At the countermeasures meeting in E-Rantel's guest hall he echoed Barbro, arguing for sending an envoy to Darkness (Vol. 9)
• Visited Momon on Ramposa III's orders; Momon was out, so Nabe received him
• Joined the Carne Village detachment led by Barbro

Trivia

Japanese sources speculate that his name comes from 知恵無い子 (chie nai ko, "a child with no brains") → チエネイコ (Cheneko).
