Personality
Cold and snake-like in appearance, he is seen as a bat that wavers between the two factions, but he is in fact the hidden leader of the Royalty Faction, quietly keeping the Kingdom from splitting apart. Once ambitious enough to plot to usurp the throne, he changed completely after his son was born and became a doting father. Under great stress, he often rails at foolish nobles in private.

- Unusually for a Kingdom that looks down on magic, he relies on retired orichalcum- and mithril-rank adventurers as his subordinates
- Compiles an adventurers' handbook of knowledge about monsters, magic, and items
- Skilled at controlling information; later he suppressed news of the invasion on the Sorcerer Kingdom's behalf
History
- Originally an ambitious man with designs on the throne, he made a political marriage; the birth of his son "Rii-tan" made him give up his ambitions, and from then on he wanted only to hand his domain down to his child intact (background)
- At Renner's invitation he met her together with Second Prince Zanac and formed a partnership. He sent his men to join the raids on the Eight Fingers' hideouts, and hired the adamantite-rank adventurers "Darkness" (ostensibly to guard his residence in the Royal Capital) (Vol. 6)
- Placed in command of the Kingdom army for the battle on the Katze Plains, he narrowly survived the massacre after the whole army collapsed. He then refused Zanac's pleas to stay and withdrew to his domain (Vols. 9–10)
- Coerced by the Sorcerer Kingdom through his child, he was forced to betray the Kingdom, and suppressed news of the Sorcerer Kingdom's invasion (Vol. 14)
- After the Kingdom fell, he was ordered to administer his own domain, E-Raevel, for the time being, and took some comfort in the coming of his second child (Vol. 14)
Trivia
He has told his wife "I love you" only twice: two days after his son was born, and on their wedding anniversary in the year his son turned two.
