Characters
Ampetif Cocco Doll
アンペティフ・コッコドール
Head of the Eight Fingers' slave trade divisionEight FingersHumanUnknown
Personality
A slender, shrill-voiced gay man who speaks in an effeminate, campy manner. He hates Renner to the core, calling her "the most infuriating bitch in the world." As fellow Eight Fingers division heads, he and Hilma are on familiar terms (other sources say they call each other "partner"; unverified).
Abilities
- Runs the slave trade and brothel business, but his division has steadily declined since Renner pushed to outlaw the slave trade
- Gets by on connections and bribes; even in jail he kept paying the prison staff, so he was not treated too badly
History
- When a woman the brothel was supposed to dispose of caused trouble, he borrowed Succulent from Zero as a guard at the division heads' meeting (Vol. 5)
- Sebas, Brain, and Climb destroyed the brothel. Sebas knocked him out, and he was taken into custody and then stayed in jail for a long time (Vol. 5)
- Because he was in jail, he escaped Nazarick's "baptism," and the other division heads, who had already submitted to Nazarick, called him lucky (after the Demonic Disturbance in the Royal Capital)
- The Eight Fingers got him out when the Kingdom freed prisoners to fight the Sorcerer Kingdom. Noticing that his colleagues were acting strangely, he grew suspicious, but in the end Shalltear took him to Nazarick for the baptism, and his colleagues trusted that he would "join them alive" (Vol. 14)
Trivia
His real name, "Ampetif," was not revealed until Vol. 14. He hosted the special preview in anime season 4 episode 11, 29 episodes after his previous appearance.
