Vols. 6–7 (September, Year 1 after the transfer): using the Gehenna operation, Nazarick abducted the Eight Fingers' leadership and broke them with a "baptism," controlling the Kingdom's underworld from then on.

At 21:10 on September 4, Mare and Entoma raided the mansion of narcotics division head Hilma Cygnaeus and carried her off to Nazarick
In Nazarick, Hilma underwent the "demon's baptism" (being eaten from the inside by Kyouhukou's kin) and submitted completely; afterward she led Aura and Mare to the meeting of the other division heads (unverified)
At 18:45 on September 10, while the Eight Fingers' leaders were holding an emergency meeting, Aura and the others rounded them up in one sweep and sent them to Nazarick
The Eight Fingers leaders sent to Nazarick were "baptized" by Mare, Neuronist, and Kyouhukou (Vol. 7 p. 16)
According to Japanese sources, after the baptism the division heads no longer held grudges against one another and became partners bound by a shared fate; Hilma suffered lasting effects: she could not eat solid food and grew sickly thin
From then on, the Eight Fingers obeyed Nazarick and worked in the shadows until the Kingdom fell; afterward, about 1,000 associates were resettled in a certain village
Earlier, during the Demonic Disturbance in the capital, the security division had collapsed with the Six Arms nearly wiped out, and the smuggling division had lost over half its stock
