Characters
Erya Uzruth
エルヤー・ウズルス
Leader of the worker team "Tenmu," genius swordsmanBaharuth EmpireHumanUnknown
Personality
Described as "a child who gained power and grew up just like that," he is utterly incapable of seeing things from others' perspectives. He despises non-humans such as elves, which has led to rumors that he comes from the Slane Theocracy, and he takes pleasure in abusing his slaves. What he enjoys is not fighting itself but being praised and looking down on others, and he hates being underestimated.
Abilities
- Known as an undefeated genius swordsman in the Grand Arena; rumored to surpass orichalcum-rank adventurers in swordsmanship alone
- Gringham believes he is stronger than Brain was when he took part in the royal tournament
- Has mastered martial arts such as [Void Cutter], [Shukuchi Kai], [Ability Boost], and [Greater Ability Boost], even acquiring martial arts beyond his own level
- In the Web novel he carries a divine katana from a city far to the south
History
- Led "Tenmu," made up of himself and three elf slaves (druid, ranger, and priest), and treated his teammates as disposable (background)
- Accepted Count Femel's request and invaded Nazarick with the other workers, arrogantly declaring he could handle all the monsters by himself (Vol. 7, unverified)
- Was made the sparring partner of Hamsuke, who was learning martial arts; he put up some resistance but died after his arm was cut off and his face smashed (Vol. 7)
- On the verge of death he begged his slaves for help, but none responded; after his death the three elf slaves kicked his corpse with broad smiles to vent their anger (Vol. 7)
Trivia
The three surviving elf slaves were later taken in by Nazarick and became Aura and Mare's maids.
