Personality
Bald and fat like a bulldog, he often snorts "puhee" when he speaks; he deliberately plays the fool so that opponents underestimate him, which gives him the upper hand in negotiations. When he gets serious, his eyes turn as fierce as a wild boar's. He is a rare noble who treats the commoner Gazef with courtesy, and one of the king's confidants.

- Can predict in detail the effects of war on national strength
- Adept at using a feigned air of dullness as a bargaining chip
History
- Discussed countermeasures against the vampire with the heads of the Adventurer's Guild and Magician's Guild and the mithril-rank teams (Vol. 3)
- Before the Battle of Katze Plains he reported to the king that the Kingdom's strength had declined severely, and that if the same situation arose next year, the danger of the Kingdom collapsing from within would be even greater (Vol. 9)
- Left E-Rantel after its cession (Vols. 9–10; his official residence was converted into Ainz's residence)
- After war broke out, one of the civil officials buried in paperwork at the palace snorted "puhee"; the official is not named but is believed to be Panasolei (Vol. 14 p. 292)
Trivia
In Vol. 9 his name is written "Dale" (デイル) instead of "Day" (デイ).
