Area Guardian of the 7th Floor's "River of Lava"Nazarick: Area Guardians & Other NPCsHeteromorphic (slime; Colossal Abyssal Slime)Total Lv90

Personality

Almost no dialogue is depicted. It curiously follows visitors, swimming alongside them in the lava as if playing.

A combat-specialized Area Guardian; within its own lava domain it is even harder to deal with than its superior Demiurge
Needs no air; lurking in the lava, it drags enemies in with extendable tentacles
Constantly emits a fire aura; a Homunculus Maid who got too close could be seriously injured

[BD bonus novel The Emissary of the King (first appearance)] When the Death Knight carrying Ainz's message crossed the 7th Floor's River of Lava, Guren curiously swam alongside it for a while. Thinking that even being played with would be fatal, the Death Knight was relieved only when Guren left
After the Sorcerer Kingdom destroyed the Royal Capital, Guren was summoned there and ordered to burn the city to the ground except for the royal palace, whose exterior was to be preserved (presumably for sanitary reasons) (Vol. 14)

When fighting in its own lava domain, it is harder to deal with than its direct superior Demiurge.

Demiurge: Direct superior, though weaker than Guren inside the lava
Pulcinella: In Vol. 8, told Mare that Guren was lurking near the gate to the 6th Floor (unverified)
Death Knight: Swam alongside it in The Emissary of the King, frightening the knight into thinking it would be played to death
