Personality
Highly responsible and dutiful, he takes his role as Captain of the Black Scripture seriously, though he sometimes wishes he could slack off and rest. He was conceited for a time in his youth, but after the Extra Seat thrashed him he became grounded and upright, and he still treats her evenly.
Abilities
- A God-kin in whom the "player" bloodline has awakened; the second strongest in the Black Scripture after the Extra Seat
- Shalltear rated him stronger than Solution of the Pleiades, and he once threw himself in front of one of Shalltear's attacks
- Carries a shabby-looking spear that is at odds with his lavish equipment
- Handles the unit's affairs, such as preparing to resurrect fallen members and replacing them; he must also take part in training and experiments, which leaves him almost no free time
History
- In Vol. 2, Clementine compared Momon's physical abilities to those of God-kin like him
- In Vol. 3 he led the Black Scripture as Kaire's escort and encountered Shalltear. He ordered Kaire to mentally dominate her with the World Item "Ruinous Beauty," and personally blocked a blow from Shalltear
- In the fighting, two members, Cedran and Beaumarchais, were killed and Kaire was gravely wounded. The mental domination was incomplete, and he ordered a retreat (Vol. 3)
- In Vol. 4 he talked with the Extra Seat about their losses and the vampire. After telling her "you are stronger than that vampire," he privately worried about her loyalty (his report to the six cardinals is shown in the anime; unverified)
Trivia
He is good at the Rubik's cube, whereas the Extra Seat cannot even match two faces. In the Web novel he had an arrogant "I alone am the Black Scripture!" personality, but in the published novels he became very earnest after the Extra Seat taught him a lesson (author's Web afterword).
