Blueberry Egnia
ブルーベリー・エグニア
The dark elf village's foremost rangerOther FactionsDark elfUnknown
Personality
Calm and dependable; when his comrades argue, he sorts out the situation and leaves the decision to the hunting chief. He declares the conflict between the elders and the young "impossible to resolve," and he himself declined the post of hunting chief. On the other hand, after falling for Aura at first sight, he began to act and speak strangely.
Abilities
- The best ranger in the village, able to tell how magical beasts are moving by sound alone
- Excellent at archery and perception; at an archery tournament he won a dark elf composite bow, of which the village has only a few
- Commands considerable respect among the village's younger generation
History
- Sensed something wrong with the Ankyloursus and urged the village to be on guard; the hunting chief Apple thought he was better suited to the post, but he declined, saying it would deepen the factional conflict (Vol. 15)
- A giant Ankyloursus Lord attacked the village; he devised a plan to douse it in oil and set it alight, but the bear kept rampaging
- Aura, a dark elf girl who suddenly appeared, drove the bear off; he fell for her at first sight and was so excited he could barely speak
- When Aura's "uncle" Ain Bell Fior (Ainz in disguise) arrived, he volunteered to show the family to their lodgings; that he "was the first to ask about Aura's engagement" and "peeked at the twins playing" is unverified
- Ainz's family announced they were leaving the village (that "he did a strange dance when the farewell feast came up" is unverified) (Vol. 16)
Trivia
Most of the village's dark elves are named after fruits; his comrades include Apple (the hunting chief) and Plum Ganen.
