Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown
リング・オブ・アインズ・ウール・ゴウン
Magic ItemsGuild & Nazarick Gear
A special ring engraved with the guild emblem, of which only 100 exist; it allows free teleportation inside Nazarick, where teleportation is otherwise restricted.
- Allows unlimited teleportation to named rooms in Nazarick, but not directly into the Throne Room; ordinary unnamed rooms must be reached on foot
- Required to enter the Treasury
- It can also teleport the wearer from outside Nazarick straight inside, so Ainz strictly forbids NPCs to take it out; only he carries it while adventuring
- The number of people it can teleport at once is limited: in Vol. 3, 7 could not teleport together, but 4 could
- All rings not yet distributed are hidden in the piles of gold coins in the Treasury
- In Vol. 1, Ainz bestowed rings on Aura and Mare, and later on Albedo and the other Guardians
- Only 100 rings exist; 41 (42) were distributed to former guild members; in the side story the "reborn Ainz Ooal Gown" gave the remaining rings to its new members (side story)
Notes
Readers call it "RoAOG"; Albedo's ecstatic reaction on receiving one in the anime became a famous scene.
