- The Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown can summon a Primal Fire Elemental once a day, drawing on the power of its "Fire Gem"; the seven gems correspond to the sun, moon, earth, fire, wind, water, and time (Vol. 1 p. 125)
- The attacks of the Primal Earth Elemental (level 87) count as carrying almost every metal attribute up to level 87; it gets a bonus when both sides stand on earth and can burrow underground; its weaknesses are acid and, presumably, sound ([Unpleasant Sound Burst] hit a weak point) (BD bonus Prologue (Part 2)-92, Vol. 16 p. 209)
- In the side story, the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown also summoned a Primal Water Elemental and a Primal Wind Elemental; high elementals resist knockback and knockdown effects and can negate many status ailments (side story-375)
