High-tier undead that Ainz makes with skills such as Create High Tier Undead, including the Eyeball Corpse, Pale Rider, and Grim Reaper Thanatos.
- Eyeball Corpse: a floating mass of flesh covered in cloudy eyeballs, level 70 or below, with detection abilities rivaling Aura's; it is the natural enemy of stealth.
- Pale Rider: a knight on a pale horse who can fly and switch between corporeal and incorporeal forms (level 55–60 in the Web novel).
- Grim Reaper Thanatos and Overlord Wiseman: level 90; Ainz can create them as lieutenants by spending experience.
- Doom Lord: level 70; it wields a negative-energy war scythe and can temporarily empower itself with "Night of Destruction"; Elemental Skull: level 68; all its spells are maximized (summoned by Pandora with 10th-tier undead summoning in Vol. 14).
- With local human or lizardman corpses as the medium, [Create Middle Tier Undead] yields only weak undead below level 40; the books have not yet described any corpses usable as material for [Create High Tier Undead]
- The Eyeball Corpse is a floating pink mass of flesh about 2 m across; it is low-level for a greater undead and somewhat weak in combat (Vol. 3 p. 317)
- Other high-tier undead in Nazarick: Eternal Death (nearly level 90, thief-type, with an always-on "Aura of Death and Decay" that mental immunity cannot block), King of the Undercroft (level 70s; can strengthen undead under its control), and Death Cavalier (rides a jet-black unicorn; its armor pulses) (Vol. 10 p. 81, Vol. 10 p. 87, Vol. 10 p. 166)
- The BD bonus novel mentions that Momonga can also make the Death Emperor and Death Empress, nicknamed "Grandpa Reaper" and "Grandma Reaper" (Prologue (Part 2)-062)
