Dragon Lord
竜王(ドラゴンロード)
Races & CreaturesMajor Races
An honorary title given to exceptional dragons: those who have reached the top age stage, "Ancient," powerful dragons with special abilities, or those who use unusual magic; the Slane Theocracy calls those who can use "Wild Magic" "true Dragon Lords."
- Dragon Lords once ruled the world; about 500 years ago the Eight Greed Kings descended and waged a great war against them, and the Dragon Lords suffered a crushing defeat that left their numbers sharply reduced.
- Dragons that existed before the Eight Greed Kings are thought to be able to use Wild Magic.
- Known Dragon Lords: the Platinum Dragon Lord (Tsaindorcus Vaision, permanent councilor of the Argland Council State), the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord (an undead Dragon Lord, Cure Elim Los Malvar), the Heavenly Dragon Lord, the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord (who "completely killed" a player), the Brightness Dragon Lord (who had a child with a human), and the Swordmaster Dragon Lord; Dragon Lords who did not join the war against the Eight Greed Kings still survive.
- The Dragon Emperor is Tsaindorcus's father and, according to the author, "over level 100"; the side story hints that he is deeply connected to the players' transfers.
- The frost dragon king Olasird'arc (Lv46) is called the "White Dragon Lord," but since he cannot use Wild Magic he is a Dragon Lord in title only, not a "true Dragon Lord" by the Slane Theocracy's definition.
- Vol. 1 says the Black Scripture deployed to deal with the revival of the "Catastrophe Dragon Lord."
- The definition of the "Dragon Lord" title comes mainly from Olasird'arc's perspective in Vol. 11
- The Swordmaster Dragon Lord appears through Cure Elim's eyes in the side story and apparently has a strong tail strike (side story-368); the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord is said to have already perished in the main story (Vol. 4 p. 147)
