True Vampire
真祖（トゥルーヴァンパイア）
Races & CreaturesMajor Races
An undead race above the vampire and the race of Shalltear Bloodfallen; its true form is a monster with a mouth split to the ears.
- The YGGDRASIL True Vampire: a mouth split to the ears, two canines hanging to the chin, blood-red eyes, and claws tens of centimeters long at the ends of twig-like limbs; it pounces with a hunched back.
- Shalltear's true face: rows of thin, white, syringe-like teeth lining her mouth like a shark's, a long tongue, and eyes stained completely red.
- Shalltear's racial levels are Vampire 10 + True Vampire 10.
- Higher still is the Origin Vampire, which looks even more monstrous; an Origin Vampire who defeats the Progenitor Cain Abel can obtain an item to become "The One" (author's comment reply).
- In the side story The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country, Keno is a True Vampire (level 7) who reached "Lesser One" in the ending; Cure Elim, the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord, is a "True Vampire Dragon."
- Racial levels on record: Shalltear is Vampire 10 + True Vampire 10 (end of Vol. 3); in the side story Keno is True Vampire level 7, and Cure Elim has 1 level of "True Vampire Dragon"
- An Origin Vampire who took part in the party that defeated the Progenitor Cain Abel can obtain the class-change item "Blood Soul of Cain Abel" and become its successor "The One" (Arcadia comment reply); the Progenitor Cain Abel is the god Shalltear worships, yet Ainz Ooal Gown's members once beat it as if it were small fry
- "Lesser One," which Keno reached in the side story's ending after studying all the material on the "Corpus of the Abyss" (side story-392), may just be a label rather than an official race name
Notes
The Extra Seat once guessed that the absurdly strong Shalltear might be a "Vampire Dragon Lord" or the Elder Coffin Dragon Lord.
