A long-running war between the Dragon Kingdom and the neighboring beastman nation; it had clearly intensified by Vol. 9 and was still unresolved as of Vol. 15 (Years 3–5 after the transfer).

The Dragon Kingdom is ruled by Queen Draudillon Oriculus, great-granddaughter of the Brightness Dragon Lord; the beastman nation raids it every year
The Dragon Kingdom has traditionally spent heavily each year on defense against the beastmen and paid the Slane Theocracy substantial tribute in exchange for troops (formerly provided by the Sunlight Scripture)
In recent years the beastmen have launched a large-scale offensive and have already taken three cities; for now, it is mainly Cerabrate of the adamantite-rank team "Crystal Tear" and others who drive them back, but the invaders vastly outnumber the defenders and cannot be stopped
By Vol. 9 the invasion had intensified further, and Cerabrate was leading the adventurer forces in hard fighting; the Queen considered asking the Baharuth Empire for help if the Theocracy abandoned her
The Theocracy instead asked retired Black Scripture members to take the Sunlight Scripture's place in aiding the Dragon Kingdom
The worker team "Blazing Crimson" is also one of the main defenders, but the cash-strapped Dragon Kingdom can barely keep paying them (unverified)
Vol. 15: the Theocracy received word that the Dragon Kingdom had bought extremely powerful undead from the Sorcerer Kingdom; the Theocracy was considering sending the adventurers it had taken in from the Kingdom to fight for the Dragon Kingdom

Sources note that Vol. 14 features a diplomatic letter bearing the Dragon Kingdom's seal, showing it had not yet fallen at that time.
