Personality
Extremely narcissistic and arrogant, he respects only himself and cares nothing for his country or people. Obsessed with breeding an army of powerful beings from his own bloodline to conquer the world, he treated his children and his women alike as tools, and he never understood, even as he died, why he met such an end.
Abilities
- Summons the Lv87 Primal Earth Elemental "Behemot" (the name is not his). He can command elementals stronger than himself, at the cost of a constant drain on his mana during battle. He presumably summons it with an item left by his father
- Can use magic up to the 10th tier, such as [Mercy of Shorea Robusta], [Tempest], [Shining Burst], [Aspect of Elemental], and [Tremor Sense]
- Physically tough: even Ainz would stand no chance against him in close combat. Ainz's [Time Stop] and Aura's [Shadow Sewing Arrow] do not work on him
- Over a hundred years ago he inflicted heavy losses on the Black Scripture, and he has also slain an Elder-class dragon
History
- His father was one of the Eight Greed Kings (an elf). He once cooperated with the Slane Theocracy but later betrayed it: he deceived, imprisoned, and raped the Theocracy's trump card, Faine. The child born of this was the Extra Seat, and this is considered the cause of the war between the two countries
- As the Theocracy's great army closed in, he refused to save his country. He intended to let it fall and then go to the Theocracy himself to reclaim "his child" (Vol. 11)
- Sent his daughter Rugi to the front and idly watched the Holocaust Scripture kill her, then summoned Behemot to kill Schoen of the Holocaust Scripture. When Rugi's mother threw herself to her death, he felt nothing (Vol. 15)
- Mistaking Aura and Mare for his grandchildren, he declared that he would breed with them. This enraged Ainz, who was invisible nearby, and the two fought. With Behemot destroyed and himself badly wounded, he fled (Vol. 16)
- Fleeing back to his bedchamber, he ran into the Extra Seat, who stomped his chest in. He revived through a means of resurrection he had prepared (whether magic or an item is unknown) and was killed again (Vol. 16)
Trivia
Decem means "ten" in Latin, so some readers speculate that his father's name was "Kuro Hogan" (Minamoto no Yoshitsune).

- Myugi: Rugi's mother, whom he saw only as a breeding tool. After he told her of Rugi's death and ordered her to bear another child, she killed herself
