Characters

Azuth Aindra

アズス・アインドラ

Leader of the adamantite-rank adventurer team "Red Drop"Re-Estize KingdomHumanUnknown (in the author's Twitter list of "supporting cast by level," roughly on par with the Four Imperial Knights; with his powered suit he could probably beat anyone below Evileye)

Personality

In Lakyus's words: "Not a bad person, but not what you'd call a good one either. He's just a bad influence on children." At a first meeting he always strikes a pose and delivers a cool line; when Evileye sees through him, he glares at her, and he has been called "like a child."

Abilities

  • His own combat ability is on the low side for an adamantite-rank adventurer and the weakest on his team, but he rose to orichalcum rank on his own merits
  • Owns a crimson YGGDRASIL-made "Powered Suit," with which he can easily destroy multiple Death Knights
  • The suit is armed with a heavy-machine-gun-style magic gun, the 7th-tier [Chain Dragon Lightning] on the right shoulder, [Fire Storm] on the left shoulder, and an unidentified green beam on the right arm

History

  • Lakyus's uncle; his adventure stories inspired Lakyus to become an adventurer and form the Blue Roses
  • During the upheaval in the capital in Vol. 6, he was on a mission at the border of the Argland Council State, and he rushed to the capital when he heard the news
  • Told by Tsa of the Sorcerer Kingdom's invasion, he donned the suit, rushed to the relief of E-Naeurl, and saved "Four Armaments" from the Death Knights (Vol. 14)
  • Outside the capital he fought Albedo, who was guarding the Sorcerer King, single-handedly, expending all his armaments to buy time for Tsa (the platinum armor), then withdrew with Tsa

Trivia

He holds the honorary knight title "Dale" but has discarded his noble title; being addressed with formal courtesy displeases him, and his favorite form of address is simply "Azuth Aindra."

Relationships

  • Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra: His niece, who became an adventurer and formed the Blue Roses because of his influence
  • Gagaran: She once discussed whether to tell him about "Dark Lakyus"
  • Gazef Stronoff: Finds him somewhat troublesome in the published novels, but the two are close in the Web novel
  • Tsaindorcus Vaision: A collaborator; Tsa regards him as a cooperator rather than a comrade
  • Albedo: The opponent he fought single-handedly in Vol. 14
  • Scama Elbero: Saved her team at E-Naeurl
  • Quaiesse Hazeia Quintia: Azuth declined the Black Scripture's recruitment and probed them with the name "Rufus"
