Magic ItemsGuild & Nazarick Gear
Mare's Divine-class staff, made of twisted black wood like ebony; he also uses it to cast druid magic.
- Divine class (Vol. 8); plain-looking; its specific abilities are undisclosed
- Specialized in bludgeoning damage; it is the heaviest of the Guardians' gear, and carrying it lowers Mare's agility (exhibition material)
- With Mare's monstrous strength it can easily crush a human skull (Vol. 3)
- Source: Vol. 8 p. 286; Japanese sources classify it as Divine class; Mare also casts spells with it
- Mare's other gear: a green "Sunlight Through Leaves Cloak" (named for the Tales Weaver collaboration), a silver acorn necklace that communicates with Aura's golden acorn (Vol. 1 p. 90, Vol. 8 p. 292), and an item granting immunity to mental effects (Vol. 1 p. 98); in Vol. 16, Ainz also lent him a set of men's clothes that are purely cosmetic, with no data crystals (Vol. 16 p. 5)
Notes
Nishikienrai's colossal ninja sword "Susanoo" is similar but lighter (exhibition material). In Vol. 16, Mare defeated the Extra Seat even without his usual gear.
