Floor 8: Wilderness
第八階層「荒野」
World & HistoryGeography & Nations
The final line of defense, where Nazarick's strongest beings, "those things," are stationed; its Floor Guardian is Victim. It is now off-limits, and no one may enter without Ainz's permission.
- The 1,500-strong raid was wiped out on this floor, where all 41 guild members met it
- Floor Guardian Victim lives in the "Tree of Life (Sephiroth)"; according to the anime's setting materials, the stalling skill that triggers on his death is connected to "those things"
- Cherry Blossom Sanctuary: the domain of Area Guardian Aureole Omega, who manages the teleport gates and keeps the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown; not even the Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown can teleport its wearer directly inside; Lv85 servants such as Uka-no-Mitama and Ootoshi serve here
- "Those things on the 8th Floor": used together with a World Item, they would be hard to match one-on-one even for Rubedo, Nazarick's strongest individual (Vol. 7)
- Web novel: fully mobilized, they could repel about 150 Lv100 players, though at enormous cost; even fully equipped, Ainz has less than a 30% chance of beating them; most of Ainz's cash-shop spending went into them; one of them is a giant flying luminous body
- Ainz once tested the super-tier spell [The Creation] here
Notes
Reader theories include "a golem with a Caloric Stone core" and "taming the five bosses of the original dungeon"; none are confirmed.
