Momon's Equipment
モモンの装備
Magic ItemsGuild & Nazarick Gear
The jet-black full plate and twin greatswords that Ainz uses as the adventurer "Momon," either made by magic or forged by Nazarick's chief blacksmith.
- The jet-black full plate (fluted armor) and two greatswords (Momon's Greatswords) were made with [Create Greater Item], so even the pure caster Ainz can equip them; they are harder than magically made adamantite
- The magic armor falls off when [Perfect Warrior] is used, so the chief blacksmith also forged a real suit; he even made a deliberately damaged version to fake a fierce fight with a vampire
- Most of his other accessories are Relic class: Crown of Psychic Defense (blocks charm and fear), Sure Hit Glasses, Black Widow Spider Clothes, black belt, Nemean Lion, Haste Boots, and the Necroplasmic Mantle
- Under [Perfect Warrior] he can borrow the Supreme Beings' gear, such as Touch Me's white armor "Compliance with Law"
- Under the helmet he wears a rubber mask and uses an illusion to create a human face
- The armor has changed several times: (1) made by Ainz's magic; (2) made by the chief blacksmith, deliberately damaged, and sent to the Magician's Guild for repair (Vol. 3 p. 422, Vol. 6 p. 373); (3) the real armor made by the chief blacksmith for wear under [Perfect Warrior] (Vol. 6 p. 372)
- Publicly he claims the front of the armor uses a great deal of adamantite (Vol. 3 p. 421); a blow from Clementine barely dented the magic armor
- The tips of Momon's Greatswords flare out like a fan; since they are magical constructs, they can be replaced at any time, and in the E-Rantel cemetery he threw one like a javelin (Vol. 2 p. 118)
- In his "showdown" with Jaldabaoth he threw the "Inferno," whose head looks like a vortex of flame (Vol. 6 p. 392)
Notes
The name "Momon's Greatsword" comes from a collaboration with Tales Weaver.
