Homunculus
人造人間／錬金生命体（ホムンクルス）
Races & CreaturesMajor Races
A Heteromorphic race almost indistinguishable from ordinary humans apart from the color of their bodily fluids; the race of Nazarick's 41 Homunculus Maids.
- One racial penalty in YGGDRASIL is a greatly increased appetite, which is why the Homunculus Maids eat a lot at breakfast.
- Their stats are slightly better than those of Humanoids, giving about a 60% win rate at level 1 vs. level 1.
- They look so normal that it seems odd they are classified as a Heteromorphic race.
- Vol. 4 writes it as 「錬金生命体」 ("alchemical life form"), Vol. 8 as 「人造人間」 ("artificial human"); the notation is inconsistent.
- Source: "alchemical life form" at Vol. 4 p. 104 and "artificial human" at Vol. 8 p. 241; there are 41 Homunculus Maids
