Cry of the Banshee
嘆きの妖精の絶叫（クライ・オブ・ザ・バンシー）
Magic & Power SystemsKey Spells & Skills
An area instant-death spell in which a woman's scream carrying an instant-death effect spreads out like ripples.
- In Vol. 3, after activating "The Goal of All Life is Death," Ainz cast it with [Widen Magic], instantly killing everything within a 200 m diameter; it had no effect on Shalltear herself or her Einherjar, but destroyed her other summons
- If widening doubles the range, the original range is about 100 m in diameter (unverified)
- Other sources say that once widened it affects 100 m around the caster
- Source: Vol. 3 p. 373; one of Ainz's known learned spells
- Ainz's other instant-death spells include [Grasp Heart] (9th tier, inflicts stun even if resisted, Vol. 1 p. 219) and [True Death] (9th tier, prevents revival by low-tier resurrection magic, Vol. 9 p. 411)
