Platinum Dragon Lord / Permanent Councilor of the Argland Council State / former member of the Thirteen Heroes (commonly called "Tsa"; to Ainz he used the alias "Riku Aganeia")Argland Council State & the Dragon LordsDragon (true Dragon Lord)Unknown (racial levels not recorded; Pandora's Actor judged his armor to be a roughly Lv90 tank)
Personality
Gentle and merciful, with a soft way of speaking, he is close to his old friend Rigrit, yet he is willing to shed blood for the greater good and will even consider sacrificing allies. He loathes the players' overwhelming power and sees himself as the world's guardian. Fighting the "Sorcerer King," he barely spoke, only venting his discontent and anger, yet he wavered when his opponent showed weakness and begged for mercy (unverified).
Abilities
- Wields the New World's native "Wild Magic": [Cloak of Light], [World Teleportation], and [World-Isolating Barrier]; the barrier seals off a wide area and prevents escape by teleportation
- Fights by remotely controlling a hollow suit of platinum armor, accompanied by a floating spear, katana, hammer, and greatsword; each casting of Wild Magic uses up stamina poured into the armor
- His draconic senses are extremely keen and see through invisibility, illusions, and [Perfect Unknowable]. He is immune to instant death and has countermeasures against time effects, so [Time Stop] and [Grasp Heart] do not work on him
- Has abilities that give him an edge against undead; the author calls him the "natural enemy" of Ainz and Shalltear
- Keeps one of the eight weapons left by the Eight Greed Kings (a guild weapon); the Theocracy surmises that the World Item "Ruinous Beauty" would not work on him
History
- Son of the Dragon Emperor, called the strongest Dragon Lord by Rigrit and by the Slane Theocracy. He has killed players, and has set up bases in many places for organized experiments; the most powerful is in the east, entrusted to a Dragon Lord confidant
- Two hundred years ago, remotely controlling his hollow armor, he fought the Evil Deities as one of the Thirteen Heroes; when he revealed who he was, his comrades were indignant at having been "deceived"
- Around the time of Vol. 3, while searching for powerful items with his armor, he encountered the mind-controlled Shalltear, and retreated after the armor's right shoulder was pierced
- Catching up with Rigrit when she visited, he revealed that he had encountered a mysterious vampire while searching for items with his armor. Judging that the "once-a-century backlash" (the Hundred-Year Backlash, i.e. the arrival of players) might be happening again, he asked her to gather information on items rivaling guild weapons and on special YGGDRASIL items (Vol. 7)
- The Slane Theocracy's leadership regarded him as the greatest threat and, wary of him, dared not deploy the Extra Seat (Vol. 10)
- Working with Azuth of Red Drop, he separated the Sorcerer King (actually Pandora's Actor in disguise) from his retinue and dueled him with his armor, but failed to finish him, and retreated after Albedo broke the barrier with a World Item. He could not tell who was a player and who an NPC, but believed that in his true body he would never lose to the Sorcerer King. He privately weighed whether he should kill Azuth to take his reinforced armor (Vol. 14)
Trivia
In the author's Twitter ranking of supporting characters' levels, "the platinum armor (when operating a single body)" ranks above the Black Scripture's 1st Seat, which has prompted much reader speculation about the level of his true body.
