Fen

Personality

Very obedient to its master Aura and likes to nuzzle her affectionately. In the Web novel it gets jealous when Aura goes to feed other magical beasts.

Abilities

• A jet-black giant wolf whose fur looks wet, with intelligent crimson eyes
• Aura's magical beasts are up to level 80 and reach the equivalent of level 90 with her support (Vol. 2 p. 230); Fenn itself is level 78
• "Land-walk / Forestwalker": branches and vines automatically make way, letting it travel in a straight line through dense forest
• Can faintly sense Ainz even when he uses the highest-tier unknowability magic

History

• Accompanied Aura, along with Quadracile, to lure out the "Wise King of the Forest" (Vol. 2)
• Carried Ainz and Aura to look for the "Giant of the East" (Vol. 8)
• Went on the visit to the Dwarf Kingdom as one of the 30 magical beasts Aura selected (apparently shown in the illustration) (Vol. 11)
• Took part in the assault on the Royal Capital (Vol. 14)
• Served as an escort, clearing the way through the great forest of the Elf Country (Vols. 15–16)

Trivia

Its species was not explicitly stated as "god-hunting wolf" until Vol. 15.
