He once had the will to fight Jaldabaoth, ruler of the hills, but lost it entirely after witnessing what the demons did in the prison camp. He considers betrayal the vilest act and would rather die than betray.

Trivia
Since his name includes the tribe's name, he is presumed to be the chief or of the chief's line, but the books do not say. At first he could not tell that Neia was a woman.
