A series of spells, from [Charm], [Charm Person], and [Charm Species] to [Dominate] and [Mass Dominate Person], that make targets see the caster as a dear friend or bring them under the caster's full control.
- [Charm Person]: works only on Humanoids; the target sees the caster as a trusted close friend but will not go along with anything they would refuse to say or do even for a friend (Vol. 3, Vol. 11)
- [Charm Species] is 4th tier (tier source: manga Vol. 3); "the effect weakens if the same caster casts it repeatedly on the same target" (unverified)
- [Dominate]: the target remembers being controlled but obeys completely (Web novel); [Mass Dominate Person] can dominate several Humanoids at once
- Targets apparently remember afterward what happened while they were under mental manipulation; Ainz's charm spells last up to 200 minutes
- In Vol. 14, Evileye first lowered Lakyus's resistance with [Resist Weakening], then cast [Charm Person] on her
Notes
Ruinous Beauty can dominate even those immune to mind control, an exception that only a World Item can make.
