Despair Aura

• Level I (Fear): penalties to all actions; Level II (Panic): the victim desperately flees the user and cannot fight
• Level III (Confusion): lasts for a while unless treated; Level IV (Madness): permanent unless cured by outside means such as magic
• Level V (Instant Death): the death effect is not a form of magic
• Eternal Death, a superior form of the Death Knight, has an "Aura of Death and Decay" that works like a combination of levels I and V
• It is one of Ainz's racial skills alongside Negative Energy Touch and Black Halo (Vol. 1 pp. 101–102); during negotiations with the Dwarf Kingdom, Ainz wore Black Halo like perfume, frightening everyone who saw it
• Eternal Death's Aura of Death and Decay is an always-on passive; its stat penalties are not mental effects, so immunity to mental effects does not block them (Vol. 10 p. 81)
