Personality

The only one in his tribe with high intelligence and fluent speech, he once seriously wondered whether he had come from another tribe. At first he could not understand why Enri, who looks weaker than a goblin, was the chief, but after seeing her make ogres obey through sheer force of presence, he was convinced that she rules Carne Village by strength.

• No match for Enri in arm strength (he lost to her at arm wrestling in Carne Village)
• Fights enemies by throwing alchemical items made by Nfirea

History

• Fourth son of Ah, chief of the "Gigu tribe," a goblin tribe of the Great Forest of Tob
• His tribe was attacked by the Giant of the East's minions; while being chased by barghests, he was rescued by Enri's herb-gathering party, and he brought news of the changing situation in the forest (Vol. 8)
• Joined Carne Village along with his tribe's surviving goblins and ogres, and helped repel an attack from the Giant of the East's side
• When Carne Village resisted Prince Barbro's army, he joined the advance unit clearing the way for the villagers retreating into the forest (Vol. 9)

Nfirea speculates that he may be a "changeling"; Agu himself is not aware that he is a hobgoblin.
