Ouroboros
永劫の蛇の指輪（ウロボロス）
Magic ItemsWorld Items
One of the Twenty, shaped like a ring; it can ask the game developer for system changes, with a broader scope than Wu Xing Controlling Cycle.
- It can request changes to the game system itself; if the developer and operator agree, it can even replicate the effects of every other World Item (author's Twitter)
- In the guild era, another guild took Ainz Ooal Gown's Celestial Uranium mine, and it later turned out that they had used Ouroboros; Punitto Moe, who had suspected them of another goal, dropped his theory as soon as he learned this
- Single-use; must be found again after use
- Like Wu Xing Controlling Cycle, it is a Twenty of the "make a wish to the operator" type; listed in Vol. 3 p. 306
- Reader theory: the "translation" phenomenon, in which New World speech is understood even though it doesn't match the speakers' mouth movements, is a supernatural power and may be the effect of some World Item (unverified)
