Founding of the Slane Theocracy
スレイン法国建国
World & HistoryTimeline
Humans saved by the Six Great Gods founded the Slane Theocracy around the Six Great Gods faith; it is the oldest human nation in the region.
- Before the founding, the future people of the Theocracy lived somewhere as a race that could only cower and flee; that "Land of Hope" is now guarded by the Ashendust Scripture (土塵聖典)
- The Six Great Gods laid the nation's foundations such as its laws; the Theocracy's ideal is that "humans are the people chosen by the gods, and other races should be exterminated"
- 500 years ago Surshana, God of Death, was killed by the Eight Greed Kings, and since then the Theocracy has called the Eight Greed Kings "those who committed a great sin"
- About 200 years ago the Theocracy secretly infiltrated the various nations and created the prototype of the Adventurer's Guild
- Over a hundred years ago the Elf King abducted and violated a woman who was the Theocracy's trump card, after which the Theocracy turned hostile toward non-human races and went to war with the Elf Country
- Japanese sources' timeline: 600 years ago the human races were on the verge of extinction in the struggle for survival against powerful other races (Web novel), when six beings of great power appeared with subordinate gods and saved humanity
- 500 years ago the Six Great Gods made a "deal" with the Platinum Dragon Lord Tsaindorcus (author's Twitter); Surshana, God of Death, was killed by the Eight Greed Kings, and the Theocracy's cardinals revere his "first attendant," whom they call "that honored one"; it is said that this attendant will respond in some way if Surshana returns (Vol. 10 p. 239)
- Web novel: the subordinate gods other than Surshana's later fell and became Evil Deities (Web "Nations-2")
Notes
Sources note that the claim "founded 600 years ago" still awaits confirmation of its source ("citation needed").
