Before tier magic appeared, dragons were the de facto rulers of the New World, and "magic" meant the "Wild Magic" used by Dragon Lords.
- When "Homo sapiens" lost the struggle for survival and went extinct is unknown; so is the era of the Platinum Dragon Lord Tsa's birth
- The "Dragon Emperor" who led the dragons is the Platinum Dragon Lord's father; per the author's Twitter his level is above 100, and he ranks first in the author's New World strength ranking
- The Platinum Dragon Lord once said that the root of all strife lay with his father and the dragons who followed him; in the side story a Dragon Lord called Suzuki Satoru "the Dragon Emperor's filth," hinting that the Dragon Emperor is connected to players' transfers
- Several hundred years ago (era unknown), a huge nation collapsed and its cities split into 14 small states, which after the "Great Debate" merged into the 12-nation Karsanas City-State Alliance
- Several hundred years ago (exact era unknown), several monsters with world-destroying power suddenly appeared, tearing open the sky, but the Dragon Lords defeated them all; one of them, the demon tree Zy'tl Q'ae was sealed deep in the Great Forest of Tob
- 500 years ago the Eight Greed Kings went to all-out war with the dragons, killing almost all the mighty Dragon Lords and ending the age of dragons; the Dragon Lords alive today are those who did not take part
- The Elder Coffin Dragon Lord was formerly called the "■■ Dragon Lord"; in the side story his name is Cure Elim Los Malvar; in the main story he seems to have already perished (Vol. 4 p. 147)
- The Heavenly Dragon Lord only flies in the sky and the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord hides in a great underground cavern; neither took part in the war against the Eight Greed Kings; the Brightness Dragon Lord had a child with a human (Vol. 7 p. 280)

Other sources give the Dragon Emperor his own entry, "Dragon Emperor," but he has not yet appeared in the main story.
