World
An entire tomb, transported to another world.
In 2138, as the DMMO-RPG YGGDRASIL shut down, Momonga (Suzuki Satoru), guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, stayed in the Great Tomb of Nazarick to see out the final countdown. When the servers went dark, he was transported to another world together with the entire tomb, still in the body of a skeletal magic caster. The former NPCs gained wills of their own and swore absolute loyalty to him. Taking the name Ainz Ooal Gown, he played the part of the "Supreme Being" while searching for former comrades who might also have come to this world, and, pushed along by his subordinates, he gradually moved toward conquering it.
Latest オーバーロード16 半森妖精の神人[下] (The Half-Elf God-kin, Part II; KADOKAWA, released July 29, 2022). As of October 2026, Vol. 17 has no official release date; the author plans to conclude the series at 18 volumes.

A human-supremacist nation founded six centuries ago by the players known as the “Six Great Gods.” It holds a wealth of player legacies, the Six Scriptures, and the God-kin Extra Seat, and secretly shields the human nations from demi-humans. A religious nation ruled by the Holy Queen Calca that built a great wall against the demi-humans. Devastated by Jaldabaoth's (Demiurge's) invasion, it was saved by the Sorcerer King; by Vol. 13 it was already slated to be handed over to the Sorcerer Kingdom within a few years, while the “Faceless Cult” worshipping the Sorcerer King was growing ever stronger at home.
