A line of defensive martial arts that repel opponents' attacks: [Fortress] → [Heavy Fortress] → [Invulnerable Fortress]; each step is stronger, and only a few geniuses can learn [Invulnerable Fortress].
- [Fortress]: a defensive martial art with extremely strict timing that bounces attacks back; it is not limited to swords or shields and can be triggered with bare hands or armor; the Web novel writes "Fortress" in katakana (Vol. 2)

- [Heavy Fortress]: above [Fortress] and below [Invulnerable Fortress]; the mithril-rank adventurer Scama Elbero used it against a Death Knight in Vol. 14
